Vendor Information

Start with the basics. This information prints at the top of your final report.

02

Five Questions to Ask Every Vendor

Record the vendor's response in their own words. Use the answers to inform your scoring below.

Q1. Do you provide a certificate of destruction for each drive?
Q2. What is your certification (R2v3, e-Stewards, NAID, or none)?
Q3. Do you handle palletizing and loading, or is that on us?
Q4. What is the turnaround from pickup to final report?
Q5. If the gear has resale value, how do you calculate the payout?
03

Selection Rubric

Rate each criterion from one to five. Weights reflect priority. Data destruction carries the heaviest weight because it is the one thing that cannot be fixed after the fact.

04

Result

A vendor clearing 400 out of 500 is a safe pick. Scores between 300 and 399 warrant deeper review. Anything below 300 goes to the no pile.
